About the Foundation

Incorporated in 2001, the Erie Regional Library Foundation is a tax-exempt 501©3 charitable nonprofit organization that seeks and secures private funding to support the Erie County Public Library. We welcome your comments and suggestions.

Our Mission:
The Erie Regional Library Foundation is responsible for funding, constructing and supporting dynamic branch libraries for residents throughout Erie County.

Our Vision:
The Erie Regional Library Foundation strives to build public and private partnerships in support of library capital projects and to be responsible stewards of philanthropic funds.

Our Values:
The Erie Regional Library Foundation is committed to supporting the values and goals of the Erie County Public Library system, to improve the quality of life of citizens by providing materials, services and programs that promote education, cultural enrichment and recreation in library facilities that are conducive to these activities.

The Erie Regional Library Foundation, Inc., a fundraising arm of the Erie County Public Library system, is participating in Erie Gives!

Go to www.ErieGives.org on Tuesday, August 2 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and donate $25 or more to the Erie Regional Library Foundation. In celebration of The Erie Community Foundation’s 75th anniversary, a prorated match from a pool of $75,000 will be added to your donation.

The more money we raise through on-line donations on August 2nd, the more of the pro-rated match of the $75,000 we will receive.
